Specialist document management company, Filestream, based in Berkshire, has appointed a new operations director Layla Cockburn. Layla works alongside managing director Paul Day supporting clients including Scania, BNP Paribas, Metro Bank and the University of Hull
Filestream Ltd, a specialist document management company based in Berkshire, is delighted to announce the appointment of Layla Cockburn as its new operationsdDirector.
Layla Cockburn, from Twyford, has been an integral part of the Filestream team for several years providing accounting and other business support services.
After finishing university, Layla worked for the Sure Start project at Wokingham Borough Council, and also provided freelance bookkeeping services for Filestream. She moved to Dubai for five years, but maintained her position with Filestream remotely.
Upon returning to the UK in 2014, she continued to support the company part-time, focusing on accounts, HR, office administration, and implementing a new information security system. Her dedication and versatility made her a vital asset to the team.
In addition to her work with Filestream, Layla has experience in the sports/event management sector and freelance bookkeeping. Her ability to adapt and excel in various roles makes her the perfect candidate to help lead Filestream into its next phase of growth.
Paul Day, who has recently been appointed as the new managing director of Filestream, expressed his excitement about this new chapter for the company.
