The new service aims to meet Britain’s increasing demand for household repairs and uses a network of 500 independent local service technicians to deliver the service throughout every city&town in England, Scotland and Wales covering most household brands. The launch of the ‘home repair service’ adds an extra dimension to the repaircare brand, which since it’s foundation in 2002 has conducted over 1 million repairs on behalf of several manufacturers, retailers and insurances companies. Talking of the launch, Dave Holden, Managing Director for repaircare states:
“In recent years if a domestic appliance, such as a washing machine or oven, broke down the first thought would be to buy a replacement. However, in these times of financial uncertainty many consumers have realised they can save money by repairing what they already have.
Our fixed price repair service makes it easy. Customers know from the moment they get a quote exactly how much it’s going to cost, so there are no surprises. Plus, the process can be done online at the customer’s convenience or over the phone if preferred. A home repair service is the natural progression for the repaircare brand. ”
