Convosphere announced today that it has appointed Sam Flemming as managing director of the company's new North America office, to support strategic initiatives in sales and client acquisitions.
Sam Flemming, who is back to his native US after 20+ years in China, brings with him vast experience of data analytics and social business intelligence. In 2004, Sam founded CIC, the first and leading social media research and intelligence firm in the Asia-Pacific. He grew the business and oversaw the operation until its 2012 acquisition by WPP's Kantar.
Along the way, he led the company to develop new, cutting-edge digital and social intelligence methodologies and technologies, establishing CIC as China's social media thought leader. As the trusted adviser of many Fortune 500 firms within the region, Sam developed strong industry expertise in the automotive, luxury goods and fashion, and infant and beauty categories.
After two decades in the fastest-growing, most innovative digital market in the world, Sam has brought his significant industry experience back to his home country. He is relishing the opportunity to leverage his passion and focus on developing ground-breaking consumer and market insight solutions for Convosphere's growing North American, APAC and European client base.
