Professional speaker, bestselling author and business networking expert Stefan Thomas will be the MC for the Loo of the Year Awards, which will take place in January 2026 at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.
Stefan, the author of Business Networking for Dummies and Win The Room, is widely respected for his engaging and relatable speaking style. Having captivated audiences for companies including BT, Lloyds Bank and Utility Warehouse, Stefan is no stranger to large-scale events, and his return to the Loo of the Year Awards stage is eagerly anticipated.
“When Becky and Charles Wall approached me to be MC for next year’s Loo of the Year Awards, I was thrilled,” said Stefan. “These awards are high energy and I know that I'll be able to bring that same energy to the stage - while also giving the audience some useful tips on how to build their own networks throughout the day.”
As MC, Stefan’s role will be to keep the day running smoothly, ensure the audience remains entertained and engaged, and that every single award is delivered with the celebration and respect it deserves.

He spoke about business networking while sharing his personal experience of living with ulcerative colitis, and his authenticity and warmth really stood out. We knew then that he’d be a fantastic MC for our next awards ceremony.”
The Loo of the Year Awards honour the very best in ‘away from home’ washroom provision. Each year, over 1,500 businesses, from supermarkets and shopping centres to campsites and public venues, are assessed by trained inspectors on 101 criteria, with the highest performing entries celebrated at the final gala event.
