Heming, the British jeweller founded in 1745, has announced the opening of its new Mayfair showrooms at 10 Piccadilly Arcade, London SW1Y 6NH. Heming's illustrious past dates to the reign of George 3rd for whom founder Thomas Heming performed the role of Principal Goldsmith for two decades. The jeweller has held numerous subsequent royal warrants and now occupies premises just a few yards from the address at which founder Thomas Heming first registered his maker's mark at Goldsmiths Hall.

Today Heming's collections include cutting edge contemporary design alongside modern day diamond classics interspersed with vintage pieces from design eras relevant to current trends.

The company's Kaleidoscope Collection evolves continuously to deliver seasonal colours in a show stopping array of designs. The Cascade Collection meanwhile embodies a timeless elegance with an interpretation of Belle Époque style reminiscent of the Great Gatsby era.

Coinciding with the Piccadilly Arcade store opening, Heming is launching a new ring design facility for its website, featuring the brand's latest exclusive designs, labelled The 1745 Collection.

Director Damian Scott spoke of the company's excitement at the new opening:

"Piccadilly is Heming's 'home turf' - it's where our story began 270 years ago and the new store reflects both pride in our past and excitement for the future, embracing a luxurious contemporary feel within this prestigious historic arcade. We are passionate about design and especially proud of our reputation for supplying the finest British made engagement rings. Marrying design excellence with exceptional materials and the highest standards of craftsmanship is at the core of our business and we back this up wholeheartedly with traditional customer support to provide a full jewellery portfolio management service."
