In a bid to level the digital playing field, South West entrepreneurs Rob Curtis and Joe Tompkinson have unveiled MyMarketr.io - a new software platform to empower small businesses, start-ups and sole traders to take control of their digital marketing, without the typical hefty agency price tag.
The pair have spent over six months developing MyMarketr.io, which blends hands-on agency insight with automation. The result is a platform that gives smaller businesses access to powerful marketing tools at about a tenth of the cost of a traditional marketing agency.
“We’ve heard time and again from business owners who are blocked by a lack of time, budget, and marketing know-how,” said co-founder Joe Tompkinson. “MyMarketr.io solves all three. It’s smart, simple, and built around the reality of running a small business.”
“I’ve spent years running a successful agency,” said Rob Curtis, founder of multi-award-winning The Pursuit Agency, “however many small businesses can’t afford that level of service - including some of the most ambitious ones we’ve met. MyMarketr.io gives them a way in. It’s not replacing agencies - it’s filling a gap that leaves too many SMEs behind.”
MyMarketr.io allows users to optimise their websites one page at a time, backed by live performance data and using SEO and content creation to raise visibility and generate inquiries.
Future features, already in development, will include email marketing, video tools, and a lightweight CRM.
Joe and Rob are also now accepting applications to join its Early Adopter Community - limited to a maximum of 100 businesses.
As a reward for early support, members will receive:
Lifetime discounted pricing (£99+VAT/month)
Personalised tutorials and onboarding
Exclusive early access to new tools via MyMarketr Labs
“In return we will be asking those early adopters to feedback to us so that we can improve and develop the platform over time,” Joe said.
“We wanted to blend a sense of community with emerging tech”, said Rob, “and this is where the Early Adopter Program came in. It’s a chance to show our appreciation to those who got behind us at the start and to reward them with a low price set for life.”
As part of the launch, Joe and Rob are also offering five free 12-month platform licences to purpose-driven small businesses or charities. Each will receive full access to the platform for a year for free.
“We’re going to help over the course of the year at no cost. When we see their engagement rise by more than 20%, we’re going to ask them to make a £500 donation to Best Mates, an incredible Swindon-based charity providing peer mentoring to people in personal crisis,” said Joe.
“Best Mates supported someone very close to me,” said Rob. “Their work is intimate, life-changing and deeply needed. We’re proud to support them.”
