- Poll of over 1,000 parents found Oliver is the UK’s favourite celebrity chef with nearly a quarter of the vote.

- Jamie won ahead of household favourites Mary Berry, Nigella Lawson and Delia Smith.
He’s chased turkey twizzlers out of school dinners and has been leading a food revolution with his quick and unpretentious recipes.
Now Jamie Oliver, the former "naked chef" has been crowned the king of the kitchen by a poll of over 1,000 parents.
The poll, by kitchen company larkandlarks.co.uk, aimed to find the UK’s favourite celebrity chef, and Jamie was the clear favourite, winning 22.8% of the vote.
Jamie won ahead of housewife favourite Gino D’Acampo and the Bake-Off favourite Mary Berry, who came second and third in the poll.
Marco Pierre White, who has just announced plans to open 50 franchise restaurants in the UK, came last in the poll with 1% of the vote.
Jamie’s 15 minute meals was recently voted the most influential cookery show in the UK when it came to impacting on our eating and cooking habits.
Oliver’s restaurant franchises are also booming, with Jamie’s Italian, launched in 2008, becoming a high street staple and opening branches in Brazil, India and Russia. He has also just announced plans to open a second location of his high-end Barbecoa restaurant in 2015.
Jaime has also increased his presence on the internet with his “FoodTube” YouTube channel, which is well on its way to having 1 million subscribers by the end of 2014.
