Inspired by Wimbledon, Little Moons has launched strawberries and cream mochi exclusive to Selfridges. Japan’s favourite dessert gets a British twist, as Little Moons adds fresh cream and real strawberries to their popular chewy mochi ice cream, available while stocks last.
Last year, Wimbledon sold 166,000 servings of strawberries and cream. This time round, ticket holders can exchange their ticket for free strawberries and cream mochi at the Little Moons counter in Selfridges Food Hall.
Made with fresh cream and real strawberries, the limited-edition flavour joins coconut, toasted sesame and matcha green tea mochi in Little Moons pick ‘n’ mix freezer.
Founded by siblings Howard and Vivien Wong in London, Little Moons has grown from a Japanese family tradition to selling over 10 million mochi a year. Made with gelato ice cream, wrapped in a soft, sweet rice flour dough, each mochi is a chewy, creamy treat under 100 calories.
Find Little Moons nationwide with six original flavours: matcha green tea, mango, coconut, vanilla, raspberry and toasted sesame. Available from Waitrose, Ocado, Whole Foods Market, As Nature Intended and Selfridges Food Hall.
