Top franchise consultants have announced that the launch of a new retro arcade franchise opportunity called Continue? Arcades has been a huge success
Leading franchise consultants Infinity Business Growth Network announced the launch of a new retro arcade franchise opportunity called Continue? Arcades, just over 3 weeks ago at the International Franchise Show, and are hailing the launch a huge success!
The concept was created by Austin Wood, born and raised in Plymouth, England. An experienced business owner, multidisciplined corporate leader and entrepreneur. He has also spent nine years in the USA and is a Dual Citizen. In just over 12 months Austin has opened two outlets in the southwest, and plans to open a further six over the next two years. The brand is also being grown via a franchise opportunity to achieve rapid growth in the UK and internationally with plans to expand to 80 sites over the next five years.
Each site is equipped with hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of classic retro gaming machines, pool tables and console games. Customers pay a one off entrance fee, usually between £10 - £12 for unlimited play, plus unlimited free popcorn! The first unit in Plymouth opened just over 12 months ago and has been extremely successful, so much so that a second unit in Taunton has already opened it's doors to thousands of gamers!
Joel Bissitt, Director of leading franchising experts Infinity Business Growth Network comments: "Competitive socialising is rising fast, people now want to go out for an experience, not just food and drink. Continue? Arcades is a great business model. Easy to run with low staff costs, no kitchens and food preparation. All the machines and maintenance are provided by the company making this a low CapEx investment, with an extremely fast return on investment. In the first three weeks we have received hundreds of enquiries. We already have several experienced retailers, including multi unit franchisees carrying out due diligence. It is one of the best franchise business models I have seen in my 25 years of franchising and I am delighted to be part of the franchising team."
