Skinkers - provider of RSS and desktop operations - has raised £2 million to fund the launch of new technologies.
The company is using the new funds to bring to market Skinkers live delivery network - a peer-to-peer digital video, audio and text feed in real time.
The majority of the funds have been provided by current investor NewMedia SPARK, a London based venture capital firm.
Matteo Berlucchi, CEO of Skinkers, commented, "We are delighted to have secured the funding that will enable us to bring to market an exciting new range of peer-to-peer products based on the core Skinkers technology combined with technology acquired from the Microsoft Research Labs in Cambridge."
