About me
\ A decade of experience has cultivated a career in print and digital media, with days spent writing features, sub-editing and producing content for social media. As part of my professional development I studied a NCTJ MA in Journalism.
My work has also provided opportunities to write poetry, short stories and theatrical pieces.
But no matter what I’m working on, I always keep my ethos in mind.
Storytelling for social change is my passion, as I firmly believe it has the power to transform lives and to fight injustices. I am therefore an advocate for the arts and culture.
Being an avid consumer of literature, tv and theatre, I have noticed the difference, the arts can make to relieve societal pressures.
Arts and culture enhances freedom of expression and individuals thrive in these spaces.
I am particularly interested in women’s stories and how our voices are heard.
Selected publications
I have worked with; Woman Alive, The Pavement Magazine, Hay Festival, Shout Out UK and Sky News
