The Telegraph has launched seven new programmes as part of its online TV service .

The shows, which are produced in partnership with ITN, will cover, politics, food, culture, travel and motoring and will be rolled out between January 16 - 29.

The new line-up includes Right On, described as the 'first political TV show that deliberately starts from a right of centre perspective', featuring Ann Widdecombe, Simon Heffer and political blogger Iain Dale .

"Our investment in Telegraph TV shows we are committed to the highest standards of editorial both in print and on the web. The future of news on the web is in the combination of text, video and user-generated content. This development is a major step in that direction," said Edward Roussel, digital editor of Telegraph Media Group.
