During this year's Online News Association conference, executive editor for digital at WBUR radio station, Tiffany Campbell and Michael O'Connell, producer of the It's All Journalism podcast, spoke on a panel named 'A Beginner's Guide To Podcasting'.
From that discussion, IJNet's Margaret Looney put together a list of suggestions that can help you with your first podcast.
She recommends using a digital recorder, programs for editing your mp3 file and platforms where you can publish your podcasts.
