The Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) recently launched a help desk to support investigative reporters in need of new tools, tips or ways to expand their network.
The help desk is an organised collection of GIJN resources, tackling subjects like safety and security, reporting tips, sources of funding, and data journalism.
Questions not covered by the existing resources can be submitted to GIJN, where they'll be forwarded to the organisation's network of experts.
“We already have over 100 journalists from 43 countries speaking 26 languages open to give free advice to colleagues around the world," said Mago Torres, GIJN’s research director, quoted in the launch announcement.
