As data has become increasingly important in newsrooms, there are many spaces where journalists share their experiences of working with data online.

To help you find these communities and join in, IJNet's Stephen Abbott Pugh has put together a list of online resources to help you keep your data skills up to date.

Pugh suggests, for example, searching for #DDJ on Twitter, signing up to useful mailing lists, and joining a local Hacks/Hackers chapter.
