Poynter's Roy Peter Clark has published a list of 10 recommendations from his book 'Help! for Writers', aiming to give journalists and writers a guide to avoiding chaotic work habits. 

The list includes advice such as writing down your 'mission' for the day, leaving one task for the next day, and removing any materials not related to your current project from your writing space.
