It is not easy to balance the creator's expectations and the audience's experience when working in virtual reality, but there are some basic techniques to bear in mind when editing films in this medium.

They collected tips from a panel at SXSW, where experts including Brazilian director Ricardo Laganaro shared advice. Laganaro showed how the balance between close-ups and wide shots can create a positive experience for the viewer, for example.
