If you're gaining a lot of attention on Twitter, it can be overwhelming to keep on top of who everyone is and what they want.
Let's face it, Twitter doesn't make it very easy for us to know much about those spamming on the social network – so how do we know if that person tweeting us is real or a bot?
Check out this article from Justin Pot at How-To Geek, who gives a breakdown of how to use the Botometer tool to see whether a certain Twitter user is or isn’t a bot.
The tool considers over 1000 factors and then gives users a probability of the bot-like nature of the account, along with various bar charts analysing their Twitter activity.
