Creativity is central to the work of a journalist. We are constantly having to come up with fresh ideas and new ways to tell a story. But what do you do if you have writer's block?

Author and writer James Clear explains how you can solve this problem and give yourself a more creative brain, writing for The Creative Process.

If you are struggling to think of a creative solution, Clear suggests that you should step away from the problem so that you can allow it to come back to you naturally later on. This will help to infuse your ideas with "a flash of insight and renewed energy", he says.
