In the ten years since it launched, YouTube has become the go-to platform for anyone looking to publish video online. Three hundred hours of footage are uploaded every minute to an audience of over a billion users, half of whom watch on mobile devices.

Kate Rushworth is YouTube's team lead EMEA, and over at the BBC's College of Journalism blog she has offered her top tips for success – in the form of a video, naturally – that is well worth checking out.
