BBC News Intake senior broadcast journalist Narinder Kalsi says that aspiring journalists should look to upskill themselves before trying to find their feet in a large news organisation.

"If you want to get into broadcast journalism then get yourself into a regional hub or regional office or a small paper. That will equip you with the right skills to get into a bigger broadcast newsroom."
