Creating a buzz around your stories on social media does not always come easy.
Steve Buttry, Lamar visiting scholar at Louisiana State University and previously digital transformation editor at Digital First Media, led a workshop on community engagement at the New York Press Association conference last week.
He shared his slides from the session, called "Engage Your Community", and they include many great pointers about using social media in a more effective way.
Among the slides, Buttry explains how content curation works, how to organise a live chat, and shares his tips for video engagement.
