Aggregating content from social media and around the web is increasingly a part of many journalists' day-to-day jobs, especially around breaking stories and live events.
Steve Buttry, former digital transformation editor at Digital First Media and a visiting scholar at LSU's Manship School of Mass Communication in the US, has shared some good resources for aggregation and curation in this blog post.
The slides are taken from a recent guest lecture Buttry gave, and include advice on "curation techniques, types and tips" as well as case studies from the Huffington Post and the Austin Statesman.
