It seems not a day goes by without Shiny Media announcing a new product. It has quickly followed up the launch, earlier in the week , of it US blogging network by making public for the first time a new women's football blog - Kickster.tv.

The launch is just days ahead of the start of the women’s World Cup, which kicks off in China next week, and follows hot on the heels of Shiny’s launch of five new football blogs covering teams in the UK.

Carrie Dunn, who has previously contributed to Shiny’s cricket site The Googly, will edit the new site.
