The Association of Online Publishers (AOP) has announced its shortlist for the 2009 Digital Publishing Awards 2009.

Reed Business Information and IPC Media both received 13 nominations in seven categories.

Guardian News & Media has been shortlisted 10 times across six categories, including for its innovative chalkboards launch .

From RBI title Farmers Weekly Interactive, Julian Gairdner and Isabel Davies have both been nominated with nine others for the digital editorial individual award - a new prize category launched this year .

Elsewhere paidContent:UK and Econsultancy will compete with five others for the new specialist digital publisher award.

The full shortlist can be viewed on the AOP website . The winners will be announced on June 2 at a ceremony at Old Billingsgate in London.

"The entries for this year's AOP Digital Awards highlight the breadth of our membership: small, medium and large businesses targeting consumer through to pure B2B. In a challenging business year, it is even more important to recognise and reward businesses in the publishing sector that dare to innovate," said Alison Reay, AOP chairman and digital and multimedia director for Telegraph Media Group, in a press release.
