IPC Media has picked up the most shortlisted entries in this year's Association of Online Publishers Digital Publishing Awards.
In an announcement today AOP revealed the shortlist of entries for the 10th Digital Publishing Awards, which cover 19 categories in total.
IPC Media had 15 of its entries make the cut for the shortlist, closely followed by Guardian News & Media who received 14 nominations.
Other media groups appearing in the shortlist include the Telegraph Media Group with 11 nominations and United Business Media with nine, while Reed Business Information, Bauer Media and CBS Interactive all received eight each.
According to Lee Baker, director of AOP entries were up 25 per cent on last year, which he added confirms "the digital publishing industry is back on its feet".
"Our judges had a formidable task in selecting our nominees, and I believe that the calibre of this year's shortlist is remarkably strong and reflects the breadth of endeavour".
This year's awards from AOP include two new categories for Product Team, open to product development and product management teams within a publishing operation; and Ad Operations Team, open to publishers, agencies and advertising networks in the UK who sell or buy online display advertising media.
Eight publishers have been shortlisted for the Ad Operations Team while seven publishers made it onto the shortlist for Product Team.
For the first time, the awards will also feature a Grand Prix prize, awarded additionally by the judges to one of the winners on the night.
The overall winners will be revealed at a ceremony on 9 June at the Roundhouse in Camden, London.
