Manufacturing magazine What's New In Industry has ceased its print publication to focus entirely on digital content.
Its website, www.wnii.co.uk, will now be the focus for the title, which provides news of new products and services relevant to the manufacturing sector.
As part of the transition regional editor David Keighly has been made redundant.
The decision to move to an 'online brand' is the right decision for the title, publishing director, Derek Rogers, told Journalism.co.uk.
"The falling manufacturing base in the UK industry meant the magazine began to struggle – the manufacturing print magazine market was falling, so the decision was for the September issue to be the the final print issue," he said.
In comparison the magazine online has shown positive traffic growth and support from advertisers, said Rogers.
Attracting new contributors to the website will be crucial for maintaining quality coverage of the manufacturing sector on the site, he added.
