Freelancing for Journalists, in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University, is conducting a survey to support The State of Freelance Journalism Report 2024.

This initiative aims to capture an in-depth understanding of freelance journalism in the UK, focusing on key areas such as demographics, professional profile, motivation, earnings, training and community.

The survey is open to all freelance journalists in the UK, whether full-time or part-time, and will help provide crucial insights into the realities of self-employment in the sector. Participants will also have the chance to win a £50 prize and a set of digital freelancing guides.
