Blogs can be nominated in nine categories, including: sex and relationships; news and current affairs; and celebrity and entertainment.

After the nominations five blogs from each category will be selected by the magazine's editors. Readers can then vote for a winner on the Cosmopolitan website.

Justine Southall, publishing director of Cosmopolitan says: “Blogs, along with glossy magazine and websites, are central to [our readers’s lives] - we want to honour the very best content in the blogosphere and direct our readers to the blogs that truly matter.”

The winning blogs will be announced on 24 August 2010.
