Job Directory
The JUK Job Directory is a dedicated listings board for journalism and media roles in the UK. It lets organisations post vacancies directly to an audience of working journalists.
Once you post a listing it is reviewed by the JUK team and — when approved — published on the public job board.
Before you can post a job you need at least one organisation set up in your account.
- Go to My organisations in the sidebar.
- Click Add organisation and fill in your org name and logo.
- Save — you can now select this org when creating a job listing.
If Job Posting Hub doesn't appear in the sidebar, make sure you're enrolled in the Job Directory — you can check and update this on your My account page. It can take a few minutes to sync after enrolling.
Navigate to Job Posting Hub in the sidebar, then choose the organisation you want to post under. Hit New listing and fill in all the required fields.
You can also reach the create form directly from the public job board using the Submit a new job listing link.
Once submitted your listing enters a review queue. You'll receive a confirmation once it's live.
We offer two premium listing upgrades to boost your vacancy's visibility:
- Featured — your listing is pinned to the top of the job board, above standard listings.
- Job of the Week — includes Featured, plus your listing is highlighted in the amber strip at the very top of the board for maximum prominence.
Each upgrade requires its own dedicated credits — Featured credits for Featured listings, and Job of the Week credits for Job of the Week. See Buying listing credits below for how to purchase them.
Credits are used to publish and boost listings. To purchase credits:
- Go to Job Posting Hub and select your organisation.
- Click Buy credits — you'll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout page.
- Complete payment. Your credit balance updates automatically once the payment is confirmed.
You can edit a live listing at any time from the Job Posting Hub page.
When a listing expires you can re-post it — this creates a fresh copy that goes back through the review process. Re-posts consume credits in the same way as new listings.
