The European Journalism Centre (EJC) has relaunched its Media Landscape series profiling the state of national media in Europe. The Media Landscape 2010 site is an update on EJC's previous reports in 2006 and hosts 38 country and six neighbour state profiles, including Turkey, Algeria and Egypt.
The profiles have been compiled by 44 journalists, academics and media experts over the past seven months and includes overviews of print, broadcasting and online media in each of the countries.
"We focused the research on traditional media, new media, media organisations, national media policies and the latest developments trends," Daniel Paone, EJC fellow, told Journalism.co.uk.
