The next meeting of the Digital Editors' Network (DEN) will take place on February 3 at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) in Preston.

A range of high profile speakers will contribute to the event including Guardian blogs editor Kevin Anderson and former LA Times online editor Eric Ulken .

Mark Skipworth, executive editor of the Daily and Sunday Telegraph, will discuss the digital transformation of his paper; while Patrick Fleming, head of reader and reference services at the British Library, will report on newspapers and digital archives.

The afternoon's meeting will be followed by the evening discussion panel 'Reviewing the bottom line: the journalism of economics and the economics of journalism' featuring BBC Business editor Robert Peston
