Magazine publisher Haymarket has confirmed the sale of two of its specialist business-to-business titles.

Packaging News and AV magazine, as well as jobs website Motoringjobs.com, have been bought by Metropolis International Group Ltd , which according to its website currently owns 13 other business-to-business titles.

All editorial and sales staff working on the titles will move to Metropolis' Croydon office, says a statement from Haymarket published late last week .

"The sale of these titles is part of our move to concentrate on our core markets. I’m delighted they are moving to an up-and-coming publisher like Metropolis, where I know they will find a good home and they will continue to flourish," says Kevin Costello, chief executive of Haymarket Media, in the statement. Speaking on the title's website , AV editor Bhavna Mistry adds: "The AV team is obviously ambitious for the brand and we're excited to be part of a group that is in expansion mode. As part of Metropolis, we're looking forward to rolling out a strategy that will help us to better serve the industry we champion across all our products."
