Humanity will take centre stage

"Stories, visuals, events, products and services will be powered and crafted by humans for humans"
Next year, we will see the return of humanity – from centring humans in the loop, human faces namely creators and human driven missions to the humans we serve. Newsrooms will decentre themselves, and will start to centre their journalists and their communities.
Stories, visuals, events, products and services will be powered and crafted by humans for humans. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with sprinkling in some AI here and there but authenticity matters when it comes to building and maintaining trust with the communities that we serve.
Newsrooms will double down on having journalists separate fact from slop and they will work with creators or shape their own journalists to establish strong human connections with their audiences.
Newsrooms shouldn’t be the battlefield for journalists vs AI but rather a place rooted in balance, innovation, productivity and harmony.
