The London division of regional publisher Archant confirmed today that it will be closing its Gravesend office and merging the Gravesend Reporter and the Dartford and Swanley Times.
It is understood that up to seven members of staff may be affected by the changes.
It has also been proposed that Archant London's Kent editorial operation, run out of the Sidcup office, be restructured so that editorial production is carried out at the company's existing shared production unit in Ilford.
Archant London has begun a consultation with those affected by the closure and editorial restructure.
