The Queen Camilla Future of Journalism Awards

The awards will offer financial assistance, support and guidance to 25 journalists aged 18-30 every year. Recipients will benefit from a cash prize of up to £2500 for training, equipment, travel, or accommodation alongside the offer of mentoring or coaching. Winners will also receive an invitation to join industry leaders at an exclusive ceremony to recognise their commitment to journalism and their future potential.

Regional Investigative Journalism Grants

Fee: Free

This funding program supports cross-border investigative reporting in the Western Balkans with up to seven grants of 2,000 EUR. The initiative is run in partnership with the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) and the European Fund for the Balkans (EFB) to help journalists produce in-depth investigations on issues affecting multiple countries in the region.

Society of Editors – Media Freedom Awards 2026

The Media Freedom Awards celebrate UK public‑interest, investigative and campaigning journalism across print, broadcast, digital and emerging platforms. With 22 categories (including Investigation of the Year, Political Journalist of the Year, Commentator of the Year, plus new Scoop of the Year and Social Media Journalist of the Year), they recognise work that informs the public, challenges injustice and strengthens democracy.

Voices Awards

The Voices Awards, part of the European Festival of Journalism and Media Freedom, invite entries across radio, video, digital, and photojournalism from journalists and storytellers in Europe and beyond, celebrating excellence and innovation with winners each receiving a €1,200 prize.
