Journalism.co.uk has launched its first iPhone app featuring the latest news, job listings and press releases from the website.
The app can be downloaded from Apple's iTunes Store for free and is found by searching for "journalism news" within the news applications category or by following this link .
Key features of the new app include the ability to search all journalism job listings currently advertised on Journalism.co.uk and to share news and features, blog posts and press releases on our PressGo service via Twitter and email. Items can also be bookmarked and saved to a favourites folder on the app.
"Our new iPhone app is a cleanly designed, simple device to deliver our news, blog posts, jobs and press releases to our readers on the move. Users can filter job types and press releases by category, share any item by email or Twitter, and easily view the original content on our website if they choose," said Journalism.co.uk's managing director John Thompson.
"This is version 1.0: in future iterations we hope to add additional features and we welcome suggestions from our readers. We are also considering developing for other platforms such as Android."
