A new competition for budding journalists is offering the chance to travel the world and report on their experiences using social media.
The three-month prize, organised by Lucozade Energy and Splendid Communications, will see the successful applicant complete five 'skillful physical challenges' across the globe over the summer.
Candidates must demonstrate multimedia reporting skills and an awareness of using social media to promote and add to their work.
The journalist's work will appear on Lucozade Energy's website and be distributed through a Facebook group, Flickr and Twitter channel.
"We felt social media was the right channel for this project as it enables us to bring to life what will be incredibly visual content, including video footage and imagery of all the challenges," a spokesman for Splendid told Journalism.co.uk.
"The opportunity to share live news feeds from the challenges also makes social media the perfect channel through which to publicise the campaign and share content as widely and quickly as possible."
To enter the competition or for more information email emmag@splendidcomms.com or contact Splendid on 0207 324 7200.
