The BBC invited experts in radio, online and broadcasting to discuss the future of audio at their famous Radio Theatre in London yesterday, asking the question: Is the world still listening?

The panel included:

  • Miranda Sawyer, journalist, broadcaster and cultural commentator at The Observer
  • Simon Marks, a news anchor, producer and consultant with 25 years experience in the industry
  • Anna Doble, online editor for Radio 1's Newsbeat
  • Danna Chivvis, producer of Serial, the most popular podcast of all time

We caught up with them to hear their advice on good audio productions for the digital age.

Journalism.co.uk is hosting a training course on podcasting and online broadcast skills on Thursday 26 March.
