The paper, which relaunched its site two weeks ago, set digital revenue targets of £20,000 for the 2007/8 financial year, but will now aim for £200,000 in 2008/9.
The site has already met targets for April and is on course for May, Greg Paine, website manager at publisher Baylis & Co., told Journalism.co.uk.
"Now we've updated the website we want to start making some money. The internet is holding up well for us, despite a looming recession," Paine said.
The redesigned site will now incorporate content from the Slough & Bucks Express and Windsor & Eton Express titles, following their acquisition by the publisher earlier this month from Berkshire Media Group.
"We don't have the resources to publish three separate sites, plus we believe that having one site, which has the traffic from all the areas, will be that much more potent as an advertising medium and that much more useful for our traffic," said Paine.
More content and local information will be added to cover the new localities effectively creating three 'microsites' under the same address.
The next step will be to incorporate classified advertising from the new titles into the Advertiser site creating an even more robust proposition for advertisers, he added.
