Former Birmingham City University lecturer and leading commentator on online journalism Paul Bradshaw will join City University London's journalism school, Journalism.co.uk has learned.

Bradshaw, who announced his departure from Birmingham City in July, will be a Visiting Professor at City University London and will teach a series of major online journalism lectures, including online modules of existing postgraduate journalism courses.

As an academic Bradshaw helped launch a new Online Journalism MA in Birmingham . At City University London he will again advise on plans for a new degree in online journalism. He has also returned to Birmingham City University to lead its Online Journalism MA.

Bradshaw has gained a strong following as the founder of the Online Journalism Blog and journalism "unconference" JEEcamp . He is also one of the founders of crowdsourced investigation site Help Me Investigate .
