The Google Android is the latest device able to access NewspaperDirect's 1,400 digital newspapers and publications electronically.
NewspaperDirect, which provides users with same-day editions of internationally-recognised newspapers in their original format, announced its collaboration with Google today.
Earlier this week NewspaperDirect announced similar deals to support the Sony Reader Digital Book and Amazon Kindle.
Alex Kroogman, CEO of NewspaperDirect, said: "We believe in giving readers what they want: their favorite publications, in their entirety, presented in a familiar, intuitive format, wherever readers are, and on whichever device they prefer."
PressDisplay.com, a NewspaperDirect service offering full-content newspapers and magazines, has been optimized for Android, making it easy to browse and read entire publications, including all images, cartoons, puzzles, and advertisements.
The Android, much like the Sony Reader and the Amazon Kindle, allows users to access NewspaperDirect's complete library, including more than 1,400 publications from 93 countries in 44 languages.
The Google Android joins a growing list of devices already supported by PressDisplay.com, including the Amazon Kindle, Sony Reader, PCs, Macs, smartphones, iPhones, iPod Touch, BlackBerry devices and IREX digital readers.
