Newsquest has become the latest regional newspaper publisher to sign up for the Audit Bureau of Circulations Electronic's (ABCe) new six-month certificate.
As part of the new certificate, the publisher, which previously reported ABCe figures on an ad hoc basis, recorded an average of 5,124,715 monthly unique user/browsers.
The group will now release web traffic figures for its online network of sites with individual data for 12 of its largest websites, including the Brighton Argus, the Swindon Advertiser and the Lancashire Telegraph.
The figures provided by the ABCe will cover daily, weekly and monthly unique user/browsers to the sites, a release from the ABCe said.

Regional newspaper groups Johnston Press and Northcliffe Media have already subscribed to the new certificate .
