RBI's Flight group, which publishes Flight International magazine and website Flight Global , now produces a Chinese-language email newsletter delivered daily to subscribers.

The e-newsletter focuses on industry news relevant to the region and is likely to be the model for Russian and Spanish newsletters from Flight, Jim Muttram, managing director of RBI's aerospace titles, told an industry conference today.

Muttram, who was speaking to delegates at the PPA's annual conference , said Flight's international expansion had been boosted by the success of Flight Global with a US audience.

The template for the Chinese newsletter will also be rolled out for specific areas of the industry to create 'specialist newsletters for niches', Muttram told Journalism.co.uk.
