Journalist, comedian and broadcaster 'MC Rebbe' has been shortlisted for a prize in the Best of British Blogs Award 2007 .

The former columnist for Mixmag, The Stage and Television Today has been nominated in the 'Weird and Wonderful' category in the awards, which are run by Metro newspaper and Ask.co and decided by a public vote .

His blog, MC Rebbe The Rapping Rabbi originally started life in September 2004 and has since achieved cult status, regularly receiving monthly traffic of more than half a million hits.

MC Rebbe also publishes a Creative Technology site called The Technofile .
