The Guardian has seen double-digit percentage increases in monthly traffic to two of its three local websites. New figures released for Guardian Local, which launched a site for Leeds in February , followed by Edinburgh and Cardiff shortly after, suggest that monthly unique browsers and monthly page impressions have increased across all three sites since May . Guardian Cardiff has shown the largest growth in monthly unique browsers from 24,160 in May to 29,911 in September - a 23.8 per cent rise. Guardian Edinburgh posted a 17 per cent rise in monthly uniques between May and September to 42,811, according to the figures from Adobe SiteCatalyst. The network's Leeds site also saw a slight rise in monthly unique browsers to 33,188 - a 1.56 per cent rise on May's figure. Page impressions across all three sites have risen since May, but the graph below from the Guardian shows a dip in page impressions for the Cardiff and Leeds sights from August to September. The sites are also trialling hyperlocal advertising technology Addiply and feature tools and widgets from third-party sites including mySociety.org.
