Shadow justice secretary Dominic Grieve will head the agenda for this year's Society of Editors conference.
Grieve will open the event, entitled 'The Fightback', with a keynote address.
Other speakers include director of BBC News Helen Boaden, Google UK director Matt Brittin, Times editor James Harding and Olympic Gold Medal winner Jonathan Edwards, who will look at the press' role in the build-up to the 2012 Olympics.
New Press Complaints Commission (PCC) chair Peta Buscombe will also deliver a speech to delegates.
The regional media will be represented by speakers including John Meehan, Hull Daily Mail editor; Neil Benson, editorial director for Trinity Mirror Regionals; and Martin Wright, associate editor of North Wales Newspapers.
"Previous conferences have spotlighted the amazing innovation demonstrated by traditional media companies and the ingenuity and adaptability of editors and journalists. This year we will show that despite tremendous battering, the media at all levels is more than ready to take on new challenges," Society of Editors president Nigel Pickover said, in a press release.
New sessions have been added to this year's line-up to explore more topics, such as the debate over business models for news media and publicly funded news
The conference will take place at the Radisson SAS Hotel at London Stansted airport from November 15-17.
Further details of the event can be found on the Society of Editors website and a full programme for the conference is available .
