Telegraph Media Group (TMG) has signed a deal with video distributor myvideorights.com to broadcast eighteen videos from US satire website The Onion News Network (ONN) .
Telegraph.co.uk has become the first UK media company to broadcast video content from ONN, a press release from the publisher said. The arrangement follows ONN's partnership with myvideorights.com, which was announced last week .
Satirical videos will be published on the newspaper's website at telegraph.co.uk/onion during the build-up to the forthcoming US Presidential election.
"Telegraph.co.uk is offering top quality news, analysis and comment during the US elections and our politically savvy users can now enjoy ONN's hilarious take on the battle for the White House as well," said Marcus Warren, editor of Telegraph.co.uk, in the release.
