Telegraph Media Group has hired Sky News executive producer James Weeks to become the publisher's new head of video.
The appointment is one of a number of job changes at the group, which includes a promotion and new title for digital editor Ed Roussel.
Weeks, who has spent 13 years at Sky News, most recently as executive producer for new media, will oversee all of the Telegraph's video operations, reporting directly to editor Tony Gallagher.
Conrad Quilty-Harper has been promoted to interactive news editor, overseeing graphics and data journalism on Telegraph.co.uk and its iPad application.
Telegraph Media Group said Quilty-Harper would "work closely with the newsdesk on investigative reporting projects derived from large databases".
Ed Roussel becomes executive editor (digital), with overall responsibility for content strategy across the Telegraph website, mobile and tablet applications.
Last week Roy Greenslade reported that up to 30 redundancies were to be made at the Daily and Sunday Telegraph. Among those to leave last week were the Telegraph's online editor Marcus Warren. Greenslade also named Saleem Khawaja, the group's digital technologist, head of visuals, Guy Ruddle, picture editor Kim Scott-Clark, graphics chief Derek Bishton and review editor Tom Horan as among those to have been made redundant.
