Telegraph staff will now use Google's applications to access email and share documents from anywhere in the world through any device with an internet connection.
The partnership, which follows a six month trial of Google's products by the group, is a move towards a 'cloud computing' model, which will enable secure online access to the group's business applications, Paul Cheesbrough, chief information officer at TMG, said in a release.
"All of our staff at TMG will benefit from this opportunity and the feedback from the trial highlighted that there is a real demand for these types of applications within the corporate environment," said Cheesbrough.
"This will be of particular benefit to our journalists and commercial teams when they're on the move and outside of our main offices."
The online tools will be hosted by Google and require no maintenance by TMG.
"The flexibility of having applications online is of special interest in the media sector where journalists need to be able to collaborate with others on copy," said Robert Whiteside, head UK and Ireland for Google's enterprise division.
"It's quickly becoming clear to many enterprises that cloud computing offers them a cost-efficient and low-maintenance way of catering to the needs of the modern day employee."
